Double Girder Crab

The Double Girder Crab by Shakti Crane Industries is a high-performance, heavy-duty lifting mechanism designed to operate on double girder E.O.T. and Goliath cranes. It consists of a trolley unit that travels between two girders and carries a hoisting system for lifting exceptionally heavy loads with precision and stability.

Engineered for large-span cranes and demanding industrial environments, the double girder crab offers excellent load distribution, high hook approach, and increased lifting heights. It’s typically used in steel plants, powerhouses, shipyards, and heavy fabrication units, where robust lifting and precise control are critical. 

Each crab unit is manufactured with precision-machined components, fabricated frames, gearboxes, rope drums, and electrical systems  all thoroughly tested for reliability, safety, and long-term operation. Double Girder Crabs are integral components of double girder EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes, designed for high-capacity, heavy-duty lifting operations.
