1. Wall-Mounted Jib Cranes
These cranes are attached directly to an existing factory wall or a structural column.
Best For: Workshops with limited floor space where every square meter counts.
The Advantage: Because they don’t have a floor-based pillar, they leave the factory floor completely clear, making it easier for forklifts to move around.
The Constraint: They require a strong, load-bearing concrete wall or steel column to support the crane’s weight and the load. If your factory wall isn’t strong enough, this option may not be feasible.
2. Pillar-Mounted (Free-Standing) Jib Cranes
These cranes are supported by their own heavy-duty steel pillar, which is bolted directly into the concrete floor.
Best For: Installations in the middle of a shop floor or areas where existing walls cannot handle the load of a crane.
The Advantage: They offer a full 360-degree rotation (unlike the 180-degree limit of most wall-mounted versions), giving you complete coverage of the workspace around the pillar.
The Constraint: They occupy floor space. You must ensure your factory floor has a high-grade concrete foundation to support the anchor bolts for the pillar.
